Despite a mistaken belief that people with intellectual disabilities receive the same or better health care than others, they typically receive sub-standard care or virtually no health care at all. That's why the Special Olympics conducts free screenings through out the year for this population. This screening will cover everything related to teeth and mouth health, nutrition, prevention, and awareness.
